Requesting a commission
If you’d like to request a commission, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and I will get back to you as soon as possible! The earlier you ask about your commission, the better! I tend to have commissions booked year round, and I accept new commissions on a first come, first serve basis. If there are no immediate commission slots in my schedule, I am more than happy to add you to my wait list!
How it works
Once I receive a commission request, I will review it and get back to you as soon as my schedule allows it. I will contact you whether I can accept your commission or not, so be sure to check your spam folder just in case the email doesn’t make it to your inbox!
If I can accept your request, I will contact you with a price quote, shipping quote, and a general list of materials I’ll be using if applicable. If I cannot accept your request, I’ll contact you to let you know that as well.
Please understand that my prices reflect the cost of material, the amount of work needed to complete the commission, and the complexity of the commission. If the price I quote you is too much, there is little chance lowering without also lowering quality. If we agree on a price, I will send you an invoice via Paypal. A 50% total cost deposit will reserve your space in my schedule and pay for materials. The remaining cost can be payed at any time, but is not required until I complete your commission. Please keep in mind that I can only ship your order once the cost has been payed in full.
To give you a quote on shipping, I will need to know your country and your postal code in order to calculate it. You can let me know this information in the request form. Shipping for props and costumes can range drastically depending on the size and weight of the package.
General shipping costs (For US addresses ONLY):
These prices are estimates and do not necessarily reflect the exact cost I will quote when you request a commission. These are general guidelines to give you an idea of what to expect. Your shipping cost may be more or less than what is listed here, and I will give you an accurate cost if you inquire.
If you are located outside the US, your shipping costs will be higher.
What kinds of commissions I accept
At this time, I accept sewing projects, foam fabrication, thermoplastic fabrication, resin casting, some LED effects, and some leatherwork. This includes full and partial costumes, armor, and prop work. Please note: I do not offer any custom designed costume I have previously made for myself (i.e. I do not offer any of my Pokemon gijinka designs as commissions).
All commission deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Sizing and Measurements
You are responsible for providing me with accurate body measurements when commissioning a costume. I make all orders according to the measurements provided to me and I will not issue a refund if the costume does not fit due to inaccurate measurements provided. Please make sure you measure yourself correctly. However, I will gladly take the garment(s) back and alter them to fit, provided buyer pays for the shipping charges.
