A mermaid costume had been in the back of my mind for a long time, so when I finally had the opportunity I was thrilled!  This mermaid is another original design, and I drew my inspiration from the beautiful colors of a summer sunset.  

Construction Notes:

My tail is a latex tail from Mertailor, and the sea shell bra, waist wrap, and shoulder piece were made from scratch.  I made a silicone mold to cast the shells for my bra, and used real shells and pearls for the rest.  I used my real hair and dyed it with a pink/orange gradient just for this shoot!
