The Red-Headed Faun was my third faun design, and certainly not the last! I love making original designs! They give so much freedom to the artist, and making something from your own ideas and inspirations is quite magical, even if the concept is simple.
Construction Notes:
This faun was made nearly entirely from things I already had. The hooves and legs are from my tow previous fauns, the staff is from my 2nd faun, and the scarves and jewelry are things I already had in my closet. The only new piece I made were my horns, which were sculpted by hand with clay and resin cast. They’re hollow on the inside and attach t to my head by being sewn directly into my wig!
